Welcome to KineticRehab.com a physician-owned, physical medicine and rehabilitation center located in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Our goal has been to provide exemplary care to our injured patients. We are committed to providing superior, yet reasonable and appropriate, diagnostic and therapeutic care to our patients. Although our staff may treat a broad range of injuries from traumatic musculoskeletal injuries, nerve entrapment, burns, chronic pain, and repetitive strain injuries – the common themes which distinguish our practice include comprehensive assessments, excellence in restoring function, and articulate disability reporting. We do this by offering individualized patient care by highly qualified medical staff with the support of dedicated and well-trained employees.
Our practice focuses on the specialty of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, which encompasses the evaluation and treatment of injuries of muscles, nerves, skin, bones, joints, ligaments and tendons which will impact mood, motivation, pain, relationships, employment and families.
At KineticRehab.com we have a unique perspective regarding impairments and potential disability. Through ten years of practice experience, we have found that disabled patients may receive sub-optimal care for their injuries. We have also seen the extreme opposite, whereby patients are over treated and abused by practitioners that see every injury as life threatening.
The truth is that each patient requires customized care for their needs and preferences in each unique situation. Communication of realistic goals and expectations is essential for appropriate medical management. Patients may have a difficult time finding a physician, or a treatment team which is knowledgeable in current management protocols. It is equally difficult for patients to find physicians that will accept them, treat them with respect, and manage complex medical conditions with accurate documentation.
